Portrait

The appearance which characterizes us more than any other, the means of identifying us, of reflecting what exists deep inside us, the tiny crack which is the opening to our being is a subject which ever since fascinated me .
Sometimes I relate to the appearance of our face as is, searching for wrinkles,
shadows, angles, little marks, and other times I “float” and make up the being I
feel I would love to create. At times I mix all my dead together and bring to life a being which awakens through my painting it. I create an expression which has no name to describe it, At times I use a small section of the face a small fragment which describes just enough of the figure.
